I decided to share with you some reasons why I started making printable sets for snail mail.
If you don’t yet know - I make printable items for mailart with my own photos and drawings. Look through contacts tab.
Well, the first reason to make printable envelopes is the delivery. As we know, the post service can be very unpredictable. Sometimes we receive our mail & orders very quickly, sometimes we have to wait for months, unfortunately, sometimes we never receive them. The delivery price is quite expensive, especially if we use registered shipping. My customers are receiving my PDFs as soon as I see they've made an order.
Price. Printable sets costs as a cup of coffee. If I’ll print, pack and ship them to you, the price will be much higher.
Economy. If I ever find the typography to print my envelopes and other items, I will be required to order no less than 100 copies of every product. This uses so much paper! I don’t know where to take so much money to make an order in typography. I don’t know where to keep so much stock. And if you've ordered and received my pre-printed envelopes, you'd also have to keep them somewhere. With PDF it’s easy - print as often as you need and as many times as you like.
Mistakes. We all are not robots. Have you ever received something you didn’t order? If I make a mistake sending order, with PDF's, I just send another email with the correct product. No need to pay again or wait long.
Variety. I usually make different designs in one printable set (read descriptions, ask questions). I’m trying to make prints in different styles (animal, botanical and etc) and for different printers (color/black and white).
Support. If you have any problems with my products or with printing, I’m always here to help you and answer questions (if it is possible).
“I don’t have a printer” - well, there are a lot of print shops (copy centers) everywhere around the world. You can take a flash card and print some pages there (I think it would be cheaper than purchasing pre-printed envelopes if I were produce them).
I can see a lot of people taking my free stuff, I see a lot of shops with digital printables (and a lot of reviews). I conclude - it’s popular.
By buying my works, you don’t just give me money, you help me to move forward, to feel that myself and my work are important and useful.
Thanks to everyone who reads this and thanks to those who buy my art and share reviews.

This autumn brings good weather, clear skies, bright sunshine. From the first days of September I have been collecting colored leaves, putting them in books and adding to photos. Red and yellow leaves have been living on my table for last month.

I found a garland in my closet, prepared candles. All of my photographs are accompanied by lights during the cold times. I like this warm light, looks like a little magic happened among a pile of papers and words.

My husband brought me a bouquet of incredible beauty in mid-September. The branches of cedar, spruce, plum and wild grapes are in combination with flowers of aster and a delicious smell.

Inspiration is everywhere, you just have to catch it, handle it carefully and do not forget what Picasso said "Inspiration exists, but it should catch you at work."

One of my favorite materials for writing is a vellum. Transparent sheets give a lightness to the letter view. I use the vellum in snail mail decorations quite often. I make flipbook’s pockets, envelopes, use vellum for packing and even for writing letters on it.
There was an article about choosing vellum for letters, and now I’m going to give you another one idea for using vellum and the way to decorate it.
The trick works on the transparency of vellum. Obviously, that the text of the letter we can write only on one side, but this does not mean that we can not use the reverse side for the decor.
And if the use of stickers and decorative tapes here is meaningless, the drawings and transfer tattoos are very suitable. The transparency of the vellum will allow us to see the image, but it will not hide the text, it wouldn’t interfere reading.
As an example, you see my work. I performed it live on my instagram.
For the drawing I took white (tempera), you can use acrylic or gouache. The white drawing under the text does not prevent reading, but enhances the visibility of the text, you can easily draw leaves, flowers or frosty patterns. In my case, these are branches, I repeated the idea of the envelope.
The important point is when working with a tracing paper, you shouldn’t make a pencil sketch, the paint will hide the pencil from the side of the drawing, but it will be visible where the text is. The second tip is to work with a practically dry brush. The vellum is not intended for painting and a large amount of water can spoil the shape of the sheet (and can damage the text). You can add other colors, but do not get carried away with too active painting, the drawing should remain in the background, to read the letter easy.
Some more adeas for backgroung: to make a pencil drawing, to use color pencils, above I mentioned transfer pictures. Or maybe you have your own ideas on this topic? Share ideas in your instagram with a link to me and I will tell about them in my profile, the most interesting will be on the site.
Have questions? - write to me, I will help!

It's spring already, but I'm still writing about winter. All my February has passed in work and I finally sum up the results here.
February is usually associated for me with flowers, and mostly with roses. I have a box in which I store dried flowers and at the end of winter, when it is still far from new flowers, my hands are drawn to this box. I want to look at these flowers, touch them, take pictures.
My dried roses became the main theme of a series of works. I made a set of templates and use theme with greate pleasure. Also I made two videos with roses, and in my Instagram profile you still can take part in a Giveaway.
You can see two outgoing mails I sent in my new envelopes, you can buy them here.

I liked this template with the stars so much that I was looking for an opportunity to use it. And once I met the article about space in the magazine. I was very unpolite with that magazine, but the result in the form of this wonderful folder was worth it.
I'm showing the folder and finishing envelope decoration on this video. It's better to watch with sound and use headphones ^ ^

I do not like when there is absolutely nothing to add to the template. As with the pumpkin set, there is space for your creativity! Decorate the Christmas trees to your taste or leave it as it is, in any case, this tender set will be pleasantly received in this wonderful festive season.

The picture on the envelope is "The winter", artist - I. Shishkin.

I heard about this picture for the first time from my teacher of composition, when I was in college. He described it like this: "you come into Shishkin's hall and suddenly it's getting cold, snow is creaking under your feet, you look up and see winter is here."

Suddenly realized that for a whole month have not visited the site. I sorted out the accumulated mail, housework, thought about the future.
November is always hard, until the snow has fallen, it is very dark and cold and there is a fear that it will always be so. Everybody are waiting for the New Year (and Christmas), they are preparing gifts and I had to work on templates that are about to appear here, but I do not feel any holiday and delay preparations until the last. November is tired, sleepy, but with the scent of cocoa, cinnamon and candles that flash in the autumn on every my photo.
